Dr. Joseph D’Angelo
Doctor D’Angelo, graduating with high honors, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1982. He was awarded membership in the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. Dr. D’Angelo received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina in 1986. The dental school at North Carolina has consistently been
ranked as one of the top dental schools in the country.
After relocating to La Jolla, Dr. D’Angelo established his practice in 1990. The practice grew rapidly, becoming both successful and well respected in the community. Dr. D’Angelo’s unrelenting commitment to his patients, compassion for his fellow man, and a never ending endeavor toward excellence and integrity, have contributed to his success.
Dr. D’Angelo is a member of several professional organizations and is involved with various study clubs. He frequently attends continuing education courses focusing primarily on cosmetic and implant dentistry and is a graduate of the MISCH International Implant Institute.

Dr. Ashley Olson
Doctor Ashley Olson, a native of Seattle, earned her undergraduate degree in business from the University of San Diego where she also played four years of Division I soccer. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Olson worked as a sales consultant for the craniofacial division of the medical device company, Stryker. It was this exposure to oral and facial surgeries that inspired Dr. Olson to pursue a career in dentistry.
She went on to graduate from the USC School of Dentistry, receiving dean’s list honors and faculty nominated awards for her excellence in clinical dentistry and for her leadership and service to the community.
Dr. Olson is an active member of several dental organizations including the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, San Diego Dental Society, and American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Olson enjoys the artistic and clinical aspects of creating beautiful smiles, and through her gentle approach, she is committed to making each patient’s visit to our office both comfortable and enjoyable.
Dr. Ryan Hoffman
Doctor Ryan Hoffman, a native of Poughkeepsie, New York, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marist College with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, earning several faculty nominated awards for his extensive involvement in the community and for his clinical excellence. Dr. Hoffman?s passion for community service has allowed him to treat the underserved in several states across the United States, as well as in the rainforests of Madagascar, Africa.
Dr. Hoffman relocated to San Diego to complete a post-graduate residency program at the VA Hospital in La Jolla, where he received advanced training in both surgical and restorative dentistry. He is committed to providing the highest quality of dental care in a personalized, compassionate manner.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hoffman can be found hiking and biking throughout San Diego with his fiance, Kelsey, and cheering on his beloved New York Giants.
